A concentrated iodine supplement and treatment for saltwater aquaria   Description TheReef® Lugol's liquid supplement follows a standard chemical formula for combining elemental iodine with potassium iodide to form a highly concentrated iodine supplement.  Its strength makes it an economical means for supplementing iodine to the marine aquarium, while the elemental iodine has antiseptic qualities that have encouraged Lugol's use in making treatment dips for corals.  However, its strength demands caution and care and we therefore recommend its use by experienced aquarists only.
