A concentrated liquid boron supplement for saltwater aquaria

Description TheReef® Boron liquid supplement is made from pure ionic boron salts. Boron contributes to the buffering capacity of seawater, helping to maintain alkalinity and reduce pH swings. It is also incorporated into coral skeletons and by macro-algae as they grow and so can become depleted over time, particularly if using a buffer based only on carbonate and/or bicarbonate salts. TheReef® Boron provides aquarists with exceptional value for money compared to other brands, offering an unbeatable combination of performance for price.*  Guidance First measure boron levels in your aquarium with an accurate test kit to determine how much of the supplement you should add. We suggest you aim to maintain boron around Natural Sea Water values of 4-5ppm or slightly higher, but do not exceed 10ppm. 15ml (1 capful) of TheReef® Boron supplement per 100 litres of aquarium water should raise boron levels by around 1ppm. Shake bottle before use then add required quantity of supplement to an area of aquarium or sump with high flow. Do not mix with or use within 1 hour of other supplements. |
